The SI-4000F MegaCamera™ is an all-digital CMOS camera that delivers 4.2 Million pixel of resolution and is capable of running at up to 30 frames/se at its full 2048x2048 resolution and over 1500 frames per second at 320x240 resolution. Its 12µm square, 6-Transistor pixel architecture enables full frame stop-action snapshot shutters in a sequential exposure then readout mode or overlapping snapshot shutter with readout for continuous video modes. With a fill-factor of 60% yields a QE greater than 60% between 500 and 700 nm with a dynamic range of 2000:1 (66dB). The 24.6x24.6mm imaging area can be covered using F-Mount optics.


2-nsec Triggered Snapshot Shutter – Stop Motion

Capture stop action images of high-speed objects with the SI-4000F electronic global shutter, full frame snapshot capability. A low latency TTL or CC-1 trigger rapidly initiates an exposure cycle with 2-nsec precision. Its High-Efficiency Shutter insures a maximum parasitic sensitivity of 1/5000, to minimizing the effect of strong ambient lighting on an exposed image during its readout cycle.
