Für Anwendungen mit NTSC- oder PAL-Kameras bietet VRmagic verschiedene USB frame grabber ohne externe Stromversorgung an. Die leichten Komponenten bieten einen einfachen Weg, eine analoge Kamera an einen PC oder ein Notebook anzuschließen. Ein späterer Umstieg auf digitale Kameras von VRmagic ist ohne Anpassungen möglich, da mit der gleichen API gearbeitet wird.

Der VRmFAVC-1 PRO unterstützt alle USB-Standards: USB 1.0 (OHCI) und USB 1.1 (UHCI) als full-speed device und USB 2.0 (EHCI) als high-speed device und verfügt über 64MB DDR-memory.
