MVTec Software GmbH, Munich, Germany launches the HALCON LuCam interface to run the powerful HALCON software library for machine vision with Lumenera's complete line of industrial USB 2.0 cameras

Lumenera cameras offer a wide variety of speed as well as resolution from VGA up to 11 megapixel. By combining them with MVTec’s high-end software, a broad range of applications can be satisfied like OCR and OCV, bar code reading, defect analysis, and many more can be satisfied.

The USB standard is a widely-used plug-and-play technology that increasingly is also employed in harsh industrial environments and machine vision applications. MVTec is always eager to respond to industry trends and to provide appropriate interfaces.
