VC reduce prices of Smart Cameras

Intelligent cameras for industrial environments, first introduced in 1995 at the VISION trade fair, are currently conquering a wide range of applications. Smart Cameras from Vision Components, which execute all image processing routines by themselves without the need for an additional PC, are a prime example. During the last weeks, the Ettlingen-based company concluded several major contracts.

Production costs for several camera models have been reduced due to increased demand, and a number of VC cameras are now available at a lower price, with reductions ranging from 11 to 17 %.
These models include the intelligent board camera VCBSC4016 which is designed for OEM applications, the Smart Camera lines VC4016 and VC4066 and the high performance camera VC4466 which features a 1 GHz processor.
