Vision Components appoints new sales director
Ettlingen – Vision Components, an expert in industrial image processing, has named Martin Scharfe as its new sales director for Germany. A graduate (Dipl.-Ing.) in electrical engineering in automation, he has been employed by Vision Components since April 01, 2008. He is responsible for technical management and staff management in the sales region Germany. His tasks also include the acquisition of new clients, consultation and key account support as well as establishing and extending the company network, including integrators.

His extensive experience in the field of sales and development is a valuable contribution to his new position: after 13 years as a development engineer at Polytec GmbH in Waldbronn, he spent five years as a sales engineer at Nemko GmbH & Co. KG (a supplier of tests and certifications for electrical equipment) in Pfinzheim. Afterwards, he held the position of sales director for ROB Engineering in Pforzheim for two years.
