New Version of ActivVisionTools

The speed of ActivVisionTools 3.2 has been significantly increased by using the SSE2 acceleration of the underlying HALCON 8.0 library. Thus, ActivVisionTools 3.2 is a real added value for customers. ActivVisionTools works as reliably as HALCON and inherits the power of that great machine vision software. Moreover, ActivVisionTools applications are integrable into any production process.

ActivVisionTools 3.2 also uses the highly robust bar code reader of HALCON 8.0. Beside the already supported bar codes such as EAN-13, UPC, Pharma Code, and data codes such as ECC 200, QR code, and PDF417, ActivVisionTools 3.2 additionally reads RSS-14 (GS1 DataBar) including all of its stacked and composite variations.

Furthermore, the image acquisition has been improved. For example, the image acquisition GUI was redesigned for better usability. Moreover, ActivVisionTools 3.2 provides the application ActivViewer for free which is able to acquire images from more than 50 frame grabbers and hundreds of industrial cameras. In particular, ActivVisionTools 3.2 offers interfaces to standards as GigE Vision, IIDC1394 (FireWire), and DirectShow. Besides ActivBarcode and ActivDatacode, also more tools are based on the HALCON library such as ActivAlignment, ActivBlobFinder, ActivMeasure, and ActivOCR. More information:
